 What Is Customized Training?
It is our goal to provide a quality workforce to local businesses and quality jobs to our residents; through a Customized Training Contract (CTC) we can make this happen.

Customized Training allows you, as a Dutchess County employer in the public, private non-profit, or private sector to oversee the creation of a unique and specialized training program that addresses your organization’s specific training requirements.

Often times, training is designed to introduce new technologies, production or service procedures or other appropriate skills as identified by the Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board (DCWIB).

CTC's also allow employers to work together to design a training that meets the special requirements of their particular industry or sector.

A Customized Training Contract may be for you if you answer yes to any of these questions:

Does your workforce require additional skills, workplace literacy or skills upgrading in order for your bottom line to continue to grow?

Have you found that the available off the shelf training programs do not sufficiently meet your company’s needs?

Want your workers to keep their skills up-to-date, improve productivity and enhance your competitive edge in the marketplace?

Have you been unable to execute a training strategy due to the inability to secure funding from other sources?

Customized means targeted & flexible training

Incorporate language, acronyms and workplace vocabulary that creates a meaningful learn and apply experience

Discuss company-specific examples and identify real-time strategies or solutions

Introduce your team to new concepts, skills and strategies all at once

Motivate individuals by investing in their career development opportunities

Schedule your training to accommodate your varied work schedules

Connect a variety of company-specific topics with one curriculum
